Consultation Services
Digital Family Coach provides screen time coaching and digital parenting consultations. By booking a session, you agree to these terms.
- Session duration: Standard sessions are 45 minutes unless otherwise agreed at booking.
- Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.
- Session format: Sessions are conducted via video call (Zoom or similar) or in-person in London by prior arrangement.
- Preparation: You will receive a brief questionnaire before your session to help us make the most of our time together.
Cancellation & Refunds
- 24+ hours notice: Full refund or free rescheduling to a mutually convenient time.
- Less than 24 hours notice: No refund available. You may reschedule once to a time within 14 days.
- No-shows: If you do not attend your scheduled session without notice, no refund or reschedule will be provided.
- Technical issues: If technical problems on our end prevent the session, you will receive a full refund or immediate reschedule.
I understand that life with children is unpredictable. If you have an emergency, please contact me as soon as possible and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
What Sessions Include
- A personalised assessment of your family's specific situation and challenges
- Actionable strategies tailored to your child's age, devices, and circumstances
- Guidance on parental controls, boundaries, and conversations that work
- Follow-up email support for 7 days after your session for clarification questions
What Sessions Don't Include
It's important to understand the scope of my services:
- Not therapy: Sessions are coaching and guidance, not therapy or counselling. I am not a licensed therapist, psychologist, or medical professional.
- Not medical advice: For concerns about mental health conditions, addiction disorders, or medical issues, please consult appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Not a guarantee: Results depend on your family's implementation of strategies discussed. I provide guidance; outcomes vary.
Limitation of Liability
The advice and strategies provided during consultations are based on my professional experience as a former Head of Technology in schools and my personal recovery from gaming and social media addiction.
Digital Family Coach is not liable for:
- Outcomes that result from implementing or not implementing advice provided
- Any damages arising from decisions made based on consultation content
- Third-party products, apps, or services recommended during sessions
By booking a session, you acknowledge that you are responsible for decisions made regarding your family's digital habits.
